This November, the Jax State Department of Music invites high school junior and seniors to “Be a Jax State Voice Major for a Day”!

The event is open to high school vocalists considering a major in vocal performance, vocal music education, or general music-voice. This is your chance to see what it’s like to be a college voice major!

What to expect:

• Sit in on real music classes and applied lessons
• Meet and mingle with current voice students
• Connect with Jax State Admissions, Academic Advisors, and Music Faculty
• Explore degree options and learn about the audition process

The event runs all day and concludes with a special invitation to attend our Opera & Musical Theatre Scenes Concert on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30 PM in the Mason Hall Recital Hall.
