Dr. Nevala, director of Jazz Studies at Jax State, recently toured Spain with his Latin Quartet.

The quartet featured Dr. Nevala and Jazz Drum set Instructor, Emrah Kotan along with two musicians from Spain.

The group was in Spain for two weeks and performed in a different town every night! Dr. Nevala stated, “I have a CD coming out August 8^th on the ZoHo label out of New York, so we were performing to support that!”

Jax State CAHS is thankful to have such a talented group of professors and instructors!
