Alumni Spotlight: Jeff C. West (’81)

We are thrilled to congratulate Jeff C. West (’81) on receiving the prestigious Gold Medal at the 2025 Axiom Business Book Awards! Jeff, along with coauthor Bob Burg, was recognized for their book Streetwise to Saleswise: Become ObjectionProof™ and Beat the Sales Blues, which won the top honor in the Business Fable category.

“My years as a music major at Jax State had a tremendous impact on my ability to stay committed and follow through—skills that continue to serve me well. It was there that my creative spark first ignited, in both music and writing. The experiences I had with the Marching Southerners, Phi Mu Alpha, and my fellow music majors still bring back fond memories. Even though we seldom see each other, those connections are instantly rekindled with a single handshake.”

This incredible achievement is a testament to Jeff’s dedication and expertise in the world of sales. We are proud to see our alumni making such a powerful impact in their fields!
