Join us for a one-night-only staged workshop reading of a brand-new adaptation of “The Adventures of Pinocchio” and its lesser-known sequel, “Peepee, the Tiny Pink Monkey,” based on the translated text by Carmine Di Biase.
This semester, Dr. Michael Boynton and the students of his THR 485 Devised Theatre class have been exploring the innovative methods of the Tectonic Theatre Project to create this original piece. The production will eventually take the spotlight as the Spring 2026 mainstage show, and this workshop offers a rare glimpse into its early development.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the creative process in action! We hope to see you there!
This reading will take place on April 22nd at 6 PM at the Ward Theatre at the Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center.
