Gemini by Ray Wetzel, opening Thursday, February 13 from 5–7 PM in Manners Gallery in Hammond Hall.
Short Excerpt from the artist:
“How do you translate a memory, something that is fluid, growing, or dying, in your mind? It changes from person to person and can even be stolen or simply slip away. Even objects that mean so much to us will eventually end ip in the trash of time. With this new body of work, I want to capture a lifetime of memories from the perspective of middle age.”
Ray Wetzel is the current Gallery Coordinator of the GMA: Gadsden Museum of Art in Gadsden, AL.
