The College of Arts and Humanities is proud to have had several faculty members recognized at the Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony on April 6th.
Kaitlyn Walker, an instructor of English, received the University Service Award.
Dr. Allegra Smith, assistant professor of English, received the Campus Technology Leadership Grant.
Diane Chong, adjunct instructor of Music, received the Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Christopher Douglas of English, Dr. Lance Ingwersen, and Dr. Helen Kaibara of History and Foreign Languages received tenure.
Chad Anderson and Sarah Miles were promoted to Professor of Art and Design.
Dr. Eliezer Yanson was promoted to Professor of Music.
Dr. Michael Boynton of Theatre and Film, Sarah Miles and Jamie Runnells of Art and Design, and Dr. Christopher Probst of Music received service pins in recognition of their ten years at JSU.
Susan Dean of English; Dr. Gordon Harvey of History; Dr. Douglas Gordon of Music, and Allison McElroy, of Art and Design received service pins in recognition of their fifteen years at JSU.
Dr. Wendy Freeland, and Dr. Nathan Wight, of Music received service pins in recognition of their twenty years at JSU.
Dr. Russ Lemmons, of History and FL, received a service pin in recognition of his thirty years at JSU.
Freddy Clements, of Theatre and Film, received a service pin in recognition of his thirty-five years at JSU,
