There is still time to submit essays for the 2022 Women’s History Month essay contest. With the March 1 at 5:00 PM deadline fast approaching, now is the time to get electronic submissions sent to WHM.EssayContest@jsu.edu.

Participants should answer the prompt: What does the term “feminism” mean? How do you understand its goals and strategies? Do you consider yourself to be a feminist? Why or why not? How has feminism changed our society?

The winner will receive a monetary prize, a possible feature in a local publication, and be recognized at the award ceremony on March 10^th.
