The International Studies Consortium of Georgia is offering a series of free conferences this Spring and Summer. Participating faculty will attend day-long virtual conferences and workshops, each of which will focus on themes and issues applicable to different world regions from an interdisciplinary perspective. Each conference features “content-area experts who probe the historical roots of contemporary conflicts and issues such as women and gender, society and culture, the economy, etc. They also include country-specific presentations and discussions about geopolitics/international relations.” Information will be presented in a manner that helps educators successfully integrate the subjects and content into their own courses. Participants can attend as many (or as few) sessions as their schedules allow. Those who fill out the form linked below to express interest in specific conferences will be sent conference programs and registration links as they are available.
