A new opportunity to join a field trip is being advertised! On Saturday, November 13, the JSU History Club will be taking a trip to several battlefield locations. Members of the club will depart from JSU at 8:00 AM and visit Etowah Indian Mounds, GA; Chickamauga Battlefield, GA; and Lookout Mountain, TN, with a fast-food lunch in between and a dinner in Chattanooga afterwards. Those attending should expect to return to JSU after 10:00 PM.

Those interested in participating in the trip must sign up for the club and pay a $10 deposit to Dr. Cook in Stone Center 318. The History Club welcomes members interested in history, and students do not have to be majoring or minoring in history. If you would like to join this trip, just contact Dr. Cook!
