
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion at JSU has planned several events to celebrate and embrace the LGBTQ+ community at JSU in celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month (October).
10/21 : Faculty & Staff Social at JoJo’s Po’Boy Shack (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
The JSU LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Collective will celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with a faculty/staff social event.
10/22 : LGBTQ+ History Celebration on the Quad (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Join us for free hotdogs, free t-shirts, festive events, live music featuring the JSU Steel Drum Band and JSU Jazz Ensemble, and much, much more as we celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.
10/28 : LGBTQ Alumni Guest Speaker at Leone Cole Auditorium (6:00 PM)
Mr. Dalton “Cutter” Goode, a 2017 JSU graduate, will speak.
10/29 : Pride Walk at TMB Lawn (6:00 PM)
Students, faculty, and staff will don their favorite gay apparel and gather on the TMB Lawn for a “Pride Walk” around campus.
