The JSU Reading Series: Write, Southerners! presents a reading by Genevieve Hudson on Thursday, October 15, 7-8pm. The author will join our campus community virtually via Google Meet.

Genevieve Hudson is the author of the beautifully-written novel entitled Boys of Alabama, which is about a teen boy named Max who moves from Germany to a small town in Alabama where he falls in love, questions his faith, and navigates a strange supernatural power. Hudson’s work allowed them to become a LAMBDA Literary finalist, and their work has been represented in Elle and Oprah. Hudson holds an MFA in Fiction from Portland State University.
