The opening reception in Hammond Hall Gallery for the 47th Annual Juried student show is on March 10th from 5-7pm.
The exhibition is a celebration of some of the best works created by JSU art students, featuring both artwork made as projects for art courses and also recent personal work.
The show will feature undergraduate and graduate artwork in diverse art mediums such as painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, watercolor, photography, and mixed media.
At six, multiple awards will be announced for top work in specific categories, such as Best of Photography and Best of Show.
Exhibits in the other galleries include the inaugural 2020 Women’s History Month Exhibition (in the Student Gallery), featuring art dealing with gender, politics, women, history, and everything in between.
In the Round House Gallery, the work of Jesse Milner is on exhibit.
The reception is free and open for all to come.
