I decided to go to JSU because I really liked the campus, and I was also very excited to be a Marching Southerner.

One of my biggest hobbies is that I produce music in my free time. I am also a DJ when I am free.

My favorite thing to eat on campus is a chicken quesadilla from WoW Cafe.

I chose my major because I want to inspire the next generation of drummers like the teachers who taught me in high school did.

What is your favorite song?
Right now, my favorite song is FACES by MineSweepa.
How has JSU changed your life?
I think one of the best things about coming to JSU is all the amazing people I have met. I came to JSU in the fall of 2016 with no friends from my high school. Through the Southerners, I made a ton of friends in just a matter of 2 weeks, then my connections grew from there and are still growing. I actually never thought I’d actually be at JSU because it was not my first pick for schools because it was only an hour away from home, but I’m glad I chose to come here. The people who have really made an impact on my college experience since coming to JSU are my percussion professors Mr. Clint Gillespie, Dr. Thomas McCutchen, Mr. Sean Womack, and Dr. Andrew Lynge. Another JSU professor who has really impacted my music production pursuits is Dr. James Woodward. My friends who have impacted my JSU experience were my first college roommates Lee Roberts IV, Alex Ward and Darien Key. Other friends who have done so as well are Isaiah Dawkins, Malik Francis, Ryan Ryke, Jacob Whitfield, Emily Cambell, Bao Tran, Joey Hudson, Donovan Ceresini, Chandler Ingram, Amanda Brunner, Daniel O’Donnell, Chanler McCoy, Josh Howell, Daniel Allen, Jacob McGraw, David Hamilton, Zach Odom, and Jeremiah Parris. Another person who has made a big impact is my first college girlfriend Madison Church. Without these people in my life, my JSU experience would not have been as amazing as it has been so far.
