
The opening reception for the Art Department Faculty Show was held in Hammond Hall on Tuesday, September 24th from 5-7 PM.
The show features current work from JSU Art Faculty including Chad Anderson, Doug Clark, Christian Dunn, Seth Johnson, Bryce Lafferty, Allison McElroy, Sarah Cusimano Miles, John Oles, Jamie Runnells, Mary Springer, and Anita Stewart.
The annual showcase also invites emeriti faculty to participate. This year, Steve Loucks, a former pottery professor, and Charles Groover, the former department head, are showcasing their work in the show. Also included is a retrospective memorializing professor Karen “Kip” Henricks.
Artwork such as graphic design, pottery, watercolor, and more is displayed, representing a wide variety of mediums and styles of art.
The show will be open until October 15th during normal gallery hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public.
